Ce document présente une étude environnementale d'un an (1994) menée sur un site d'élevage intensif de salmonidés (principalement de truite fario) en baie de Camaret. Un ensemble de paramètres a été pris en compte pour la masse d'eau et le fond marin (courantologie, hydrologie, sédimentologie, biologie, chimie) et complété par des observations vidéo. L'étude conclut à un effet mesurable de l'élevage dans sa configuration actuelle, mais avec un impact très limité en intensité et en extension, n'affectant pas le milieu de manière substantielle. Il est recommandé d'accompagner la croissance de la production par un minimum d'investigations sur l'environnement.(OCR non contrôlé) |

This document presents a year-long (1994) environmental study conducted on a site of intensive farming of salmonids (mainly fario trout) in Camaret Bay. A set of parameters were considered for the body of water and the sea bed (flow patterns, hydrology, sedimentology, biology, chemistry) and complemented by video observations. The study concluded that there was a measurable effect from the farm in its current configuration, but that the impact was of a very limited intensity and scope that did not affect the environment in a substantial way. It is recommended that production growth be accompanied by a minimum amount of environmental assessment. |
