Les Cumacés recueillis lors de la campagne "Polymède" du N.O. "Jean Charcot" en Méditerranée occidentale, proviennent de 12 prélèvements effectués à l'aide d'une drague épibenthique construite sur le modèle de 1'"epibenthic sled" de Sanders and Hessler (1967). Tous ces prélèvements ont été faits à des profondeurs comprises entre 2000 et 3000 m (Chardy, Laubier, Reyss and Sibuet, 1971) selon une méthode mise au point lors d'une campagne précédente (Laubier, Martinais and Reyss, 1971). The Cumaceans collected during the "Polymède" cruise of the R.V. "Jean Charcot" in the western Mediterranean Sea, come from 12 samplings carried out with an epibenthic drag based on the '"epibenthic sled" model by Sanders and Hessler (1967). All these samplings were carried out at depths comprised between 2 000 and 3 000 m (Chardy, Laubier, Reyss and Sibuet, 1971), based on a method developed during a previous cruise (Laubier, Martinais and Reyss, 1971).
