Abstract The Deep-Arvor float is an Argo float designed to achieve more than 150 profiles at 4000m depth. It is equipped with a SBE41CP CTD. Oxygen measurements are in option (4330 optode). Two 3500 dbar models were deployed in 2012 and 2013. Two 4000 m (4120 db) industrials prototypes were deployed in 2014. We expect to deploy twelve 4000 m floats in 2015 and 2016. Results at sea of the first 4 Deep-Arvor are presented.
