| Abstract |
Scientific surveys for geoscience use medium-power acoustic sources called Sub-Bottom Profilers . Their acoustic signal characteristics are shown not to impact the physiology of marine mammals. Therefore scientific surveys collecting data using Sub-Bottom Profilers do not require specific mitigation plans. |
