AB L'organe Y apparaît à un stade embryonnaire voisin du stade C, selon Richard (1974), c'est-à-dire 3 semaines environ avant l'éclosion, à une température de 20°C. Sa différenciation se déroule sur 48 heures et elle est marquée par des modifications histologiques et une petite crise mitotique au sein du tissu épidermique d'origine. Sa situation métamérique est essentiellement maxillulaire. 
AB The Y organ appears during the embryonic development of the prawn (P. serratus ) at a stage approximately C, according to Richard's definition (1974). 3 weeks separate this stage from hatching at a temperature of 20 degree C. The organ formation is realized over 48 hours and is marked by an histological modification and a small mitotic crisis in the epidermal tissue from which it differentiates. Its metameric localization is mainly maxillular.
