Résumé en anglais |
The suspended matter distribution in Channel surface waters during 1981 have been obtained by the interpretation of radiometer recording (Coastal zone Color Scanner working on Nimbus 7 satellite). After imagery calibration and calculation of suspended matter concentration using algorithm from in situ measurements, the maps interpretation allows the study of: (1) resuspension of infratidal fluvial particles by swells and tides; (2) characterizing of intertidal zone given estuarine material by erosion; (3) determination of river plume limits with regard to Seine flow rate; (4) calculation and modeling of solid load; (5) estimation of suspended particles masses and volumes to strike the balance; (6) differentiation of hydrobiological behaviors in Western and Eastern Channel basins. |
