AB This paper summarizes the main results obtained by the author at the time of his thesis. Sediment granulometry, composition and distribution are exposed in the first part. The use of factor analysis on sediment samples allows for the classification of soft sediments and to study its evolution during one and several years. Since 1978, the north-eastern Seine Bay sedimentation seems to be stable for all fluctuations and slitting in Antifer oil terminal.
