Résumé en anglais Electrophoretic analysis of eight polymorphic loci in 23 mixed or monospecific populations of Cepaea nemoralis and Cepaea hortensis indicates important genetic dissimilarities between Breton and Pyrenean areas. The concordance between groups of samples and various latitudinal or altitudinal zones suggests that the influence of climatic factors could be involved. Founder effects also seem to increase the differentiation in some populations; the lower genetic variability in three pyrenean samples probably submitted to frequent extinctions could illustrate this process. Nevertheless, divergences corresponding to plurispecific samples suppose the absence of interactions between the two species.
