AB Les principales phases de la sporulation d'un nouveau Marteilia, parasite du Pélécypode Scrobicularia piperata Poiret sont décrites en microscopie électronique. Les caractéristiques morphologiques de la spore tricellulaire et la différenciation du contenu cytoplasmique des sporontes distinguent ce parasite des autres espèces du genre Marteilia. Nous proposons de le nommer Marteilia christenseni sp.n.
AB The fine structure of the different stages of the life cycle of a new Marteilia, parasite of the pelecypod Scrobicularia piperata has been studied. The morphological characteristics of the tricellular spore and the differentiation of the cytoplasmic contents of the sporontes distinguish this parasite from other species of the genus Marteilia.
