AB L'étude électrophorétique des fractions sarcoplasmiques dans l'eau et les solutions de faible force ionique peut être appliquée à l'identification d'espèces ; dans ce domaine l'isoélectrofocalisation (IEF) donne d'excellents résultats. Nous avons utilisé pour la détermination d'espèces marines des gels minces d'agarose en (EF. La fabrication de ces gels et les conditions opératoires sont décrites. Par rapport à la méthode classique d'IEF en gel de polyacrylamide, l'IEF en gel d'agarose donne une meilleure résolution des spectres comme le montrent les résultats obtenus avec des filets fumés, et surtout apporte une rapidité analytique très supérieure. Cependant, l'IEF en gel d'agarose est une technique récente, plusieurs fabricants commercialisent différents systèmes agarose-ampholites ; ces divers produits doivent être testés pour trouver les mieux adaptés.
AB The electrophoretic study of sarcoplasmic fraction soluble in water or in low ionic strength solutions can be applied to species identification; in this field isoelectric focusing (IEF) gives excellent results. In this paper thin agarose gels have been used in IEF for the determination of marine species. The preparation of these agarose gels and the running conditions are described. The use of agarose gel in IEF is a relatively new technique, different companies market several different agarose ampholyte systems; these products should be tested to find the most adaptable.
