AB La croissance de Diplodus sargus 0+ des étangs côtiers de Palavas (Mauguio et Prévost, sud de la France) a été étudiée. Le taux de croissance est maximum en été. Une étude comparative a montré que les sars d'un an des côtes du Liban et ceux obtenus en aquiculture sont plus longs et plus lourds que les individus de Mauguio et du Prévost.
AB The growth of Diplodus sargus Phi super(+) (sea bream) from the brackish ponds of Palavas (Mauguio and Prevost, South of France) has been studied. The growth rate of this species is higher in summer than in winter (the growth stops) or even in spring or autumn. Comparative growth studies have shown that one year old specimens from the coast of Lebanon and also those obtained by aquaculture are larger and heavier than those from Mauguio and Prevost ponds.
