AB The object of this study is principally to compare the efficiency of 2 plankton nets (Gulf III encased and Bongo) used for the capture of fish eggs and larvae, especially Clupeidae and Engraulidae, in the Bay of Biscay (May 1974). Whereas the Gulf III is more efficient for the capture of eggs, the Bongo gives better results for the capture of larvae.
