Résumé en anglais |
The author describes a new alepocephaliid fish of the gen Talismania Goode and Bean, 1895 from the waters along the coast of north-west Africa. The new sp T.grandisquamis differs from T.homoptera (Vaillant, 1888) and T.oregoni Parr, 1952 by the highly developed pectoral ray and from T.longifilis (Brauer, 1902) and T.bifurcata (Parr, 1951) by the larger scales, only about 47 in a longitudinal series, and about 13 in a transverse count. |
