AB Suite a la mission effectuee par j.p.george a bord de chalutiers en essai de peche au germon a l'aide d'un chalut boeuf pelagique en septembre 87 (ces essais s'etant averes tres prometeurs), l'ifremer s'est interesse a la conception d'un chalut plus adapte a cette peche dite de surface. il a donc ete decide de realiser une  maquette a l'echelle d'un chalut a rabattement par le dessous.
AB Following a mission made by J.P. George on board trawls testing tunny fishing by using a pelagic "boeuf" trawl in September 1987 (because these tests were very promising), IFREMER became interested in designing a trawl more adapted to this type of fishing, known as surface fishing, it was therefore decided to create a mock-up to scale of the trawl that folds down from the bottom.
