AB Depuis 1976, Maurice Héral étudie, à la Station IFREMER de La Tremblade (France), les réseaux trophiques des écosystèmes conchylicoles et, notamment, la variabilité de la nourriture disponible, les bilans d'énergie, l'écophysiologie de l'huître japonaise; il a élaboré un modèle global de production conchylicole. Il dirige, depuis 1980, le laboratoire "Ecosystèmes conchylicoles" (LEC). Spécialiste des modèles numériques, Cédric Bacher travaille au LEC depuis 1985. Il a mis au point une stratégie d'échantillonnage des biomasses de mollusques cultivés et un premier modèle trophique analytique couplant systèmes physique et biologique. Jean-Marc Deslous-Paoli fait partie du même laboratoire depuis 1979, où ses travaux portent sur le suivi des croissances, l'estimation des stocks par télédétection, les bilans d'énergie et l'écophysiologie des mollusques filtreurs intertidaux
AB Maurice Héral has been studying, since 1976 at the IFREMER Station of La Tremblade (France), the trophic networks of shellfish-farming ecosystems and, especially, the variability of available food, energy assessment, the ecophysiology of the Japanese oyster; he has set up a comprehensive model of shellfish farming production. He has been managing the Shellfish Farming Ecosystems Laboratory (LEC) since 1980. A specialist of digital models, Cédric Bacher has been working at the LEC since 1985. He invented a strategy of sampling farmed molluscs' biomass and a preliminary, analytic trophic model that combines physical and biological systems. Jean-Marc Deslous-Paoli has been a member of the same laboratory since 1979, where his work focuses on monitoring growth, assessing stocks by remote detection, energy assessments and the ecophysiology of intertidal filtering molluscs.
