AB La bonamiose, maladie due au protozoaire Bonamia ostreae a été détectée en 1979 pour la première fois en Bretagne au cours d'épisodes de mortalité. Depuis, cette maladie s'est propagée à tous les centres ostréicoles français, puis européens.
AB Bonamiosis—a disease caused by a protozoan parasite, Bonamia ostreae—was detected for the first time in Brittany in 1979 in conjunction with a massive mortality event. Since then, the disease has spread to all French oyster farming areas, and then throughout Europe.
