AB Prolongeant une réflexion sur la flexibilité des unités de pêche artisanale (DABAT et al., 1990 ; REY, 1991-b), l'objectif de cette communication est d'analyser si la flexibilité est liée à une échelle de temps donnée qui serait le court terme. Le changement d'échelle de temps modifie le niveau d'interrogation : il ne s'agit plus d'aborder la flexibilité du point de vue productif comme la propriété d'un système mais plutôt la flexibilité décisionnelle comme un processus d'adaptation dans le cadre d'une transformation du système. AB Extending a reflection upon the flexibility of artisanal fishing (DABAT et al., 1990; REY, 1991-b), the aim of this communication is linked to a set time scale that would be short term. Changing the time scale modifies the level of interrogation: the point is no longer to consider flexibility from a productive point of view as the property of a system but decision-making flexibility as an adaptation process in the context of a transformation of the system.
