AB Les quatres espèces dont il est question dans cette note proviennent de localités très diverses de la Méditerranée, soit du bassin oriental (cap Matapan et Castellorizo en Grèce), soit du bassin occidental (côtes d'Algérie et Mer d'Alboran). Deux sont nouvelles, les deux autres n'avaient pas encore été signalées en Méditerranée. Ces éponges font partie des importantes collections de Spongiaires récoltées par le «Président-Théodore-Tissier» et par la «Calypso» en Méditerranée; ces collections contiennent certainement bien d'autres espèces intéressantes, mais ces quatre éponges me semblent suffisamment particulières à divers points de vue pour les signaler dès maintenant. 
AB The four species studied in this note come from very different locations in the Mediterranean Sea, either from the eastern part (Cape Matapan and Kastelorizo in Greece) or from the western part (off the coasts of Algeria and the Alboran Sea) of the sea. Two species were new and two had never been observed before in the Mediterranean Sea. These sponges are part of the large collection of sponges sampled on board the "Président-Théodore-Tissier" and the "Calypso" in the Mediterranean Sea. These collections probably harbour other interesting species, but these four sponges seemed quite particular in several respects and thereby warranted immediate study.
