AB Cet ouvrage présente le travail de quatre ans d'un groupe de réflexion prospective de l'ifremer sur la demande en recherche des pays du Sud à l'horizon 2025 dans Ile domaine des pêches et de l'aquaculture. L'étude a porté sur un bilan rétrospectif des actions de coopération scientifique menées par l'Institut avec ces pays depuis vingt-cinq ans et une étude prospective classique utilisant la méthode des scénarios appuyée par une large bibliographie. L'analyse a conduit à définir les demandes en recherche les plus fréquentes dans les principales zones géographiques du Sud ainsi que les priorités thématiques et géographiques pour l'ifremer. Deux conclusions opérationnelles sont formulées: élaboration « d'avis d'opportunités» pour intervenir dans les pays du Sud; recommandation pour la création d'une cellule pérenne de prospective à l'ifremer à l'instar d'autres organismes de recherche. AB This document presents four years of work by an Ifremer's prospective group on the research demand in the fields of fisheries and aquaculture in southern countries by 2025. The study focused on a retrospective assessment of the scientific cooperations conducted by the Institute with southern countries over the past twenty-five years. It was followed by a classic prospective ana/ysis based on the method of scenarios, comp/eted bya research on a wide range of published documents. The analysis identified the most Frequent research demands in five geographic areas of the southern hemisphere. The relevant research themes where Ifremer should intervene as weil as geographic priorities were a/so defined. Two practical conclusions were formulated: on the one hand, drawing up an evaluation procedure of the proposais based on "Opportunity for /fremer intervention" in soufhern countries; on the other hand, a recommendation for the building of a permanent prospective unit in {fremer as other research organizations have done.
