AB La multiplication des ports de plaisance et les problèmes qu'ils posent ont incité l'Ifremer à analyser les conséquences de ces constructions sur le milieu littoral. L'ouvrage présenté passe en revue les impacts liés à la construction et à l'exploitation du port. Il propose quelques mesures simples qui visent à réduire les nuisances et assurer la compatibilité de la plaisance avec les autres activités traditionnelles. Et, surtout, il cherche à concilier l'implantation du port avec la protection de l'environnement. Cet ouvrage s'adresse, en particulier, à toutes les personnes qui ont des responsabilités dans la protection et l'aménagement du littoral: représentants de l'État, de l'Administration, des municipalités, des départements, des régions, organismes et associations chargés de sa sauvegarde. AB The increase in the number of marinas and the problems that they pose has prompted Ifremer to analyse the consequences of these structures on the coastal environment. This report reviews the impacts associated with the construction and the operation of marinas. Some simple measures are proposed to reduce the inconveniences and ensure the compatibility of pleasure boating with other traditional activities. Most of all, these measures seek to reconcile the existence of marinas with environmental protection. This report is intended, in particular, for spatial planners and those responsible for protecting the coastal environment: representatives of administrative bodies; national, local, county ("department") and regional governments; organisations and associations in charge of environmental conservation.
