AB  Environ 200 km du littoral breton ont été pollués à la suite du naufrage du pétrolier TANIO, le 7 mars 1980. Un programme de suivi chimique a été entrepris pour étudier la pollution de l'eau (trois mois) et des sédiments intertidaux (seize mois). Par rapport à l'AMOCO CADIZ, la contamination de l'eau et des fonds a été limitée, en raison de la viscosité élevée du polluant et de l'importance moindre du déversement. [OCR NON CONTRÔLE]
AB About 200 km of the Breton coastline was polluted as a consequence of the sinking of the tanker Tanio, on March 7th, 1980. A chemical monitoring was carried out to study the pollution of water (three months) and intertidal sediments (sixteen months). In comparison with the Amoco Cadiz, the contamination of water and sea beds has been limited, thanks to the high viscosity of the pollutant and the smaller size of the spill.
