AB Dans le cadre d'une étude écologique de l'étage abyssal du Golfe de Gascogne, une espèce appartenant à un genre nouveau d'Annélide Polychète sédentaire, proche de la famille des Flabelligeridae a été découverte.  Par de nombreux caractères morphologiques, Chauvinelia biscayensis gen. sp. nov. se rapproche également d'une petite famille créée récemment, les Fauveliopsidae. Il est cependant difficile d'établir les rapports phylétiques précis de ce curieux genre. [OCR NON CONTRÔLE]
AB In the framework of an ecological study of the abyssal zone of the Bay of Biscay, a new species belonging to a new genus of Annelida Polychaeta sedentaria, close to the family of the Flabelligeridae was discovered. Numerous morphological characters link Chauvinelia biscayensis gen. sp. nov. to a small family recently created, that of Fauveliopsidae. However, it remains difficult to establish the precise phyletic relationships of this peculiar genus.
