AB Les claires constituent un milieu de culture non seulement pour l'Huître, mais pour la flore et la faune microscopiques très riches qui accompagnent le Lamellibranche. Ce sont les Diatomées qui préoccupent actuellement tout particulièrement les ostréiculteurs, car elles servent non seulement à la nutrition du Mollusque, mais sont susceptibles de changer aussi dans certaines conditions de milieu la coloration de ses branchies. Nous nous sommes proposés de conduire parallèlement une recherche expérimentale sur l'Huître et sur les Diatomées marines en nous posant comme but de préciser les conditions optimales pour ces deux organismes, afin de voir si elles étaient les mêmes chez les uns et chez les autres. AB The ponds are a cultivation environment not only for the oyster but also for the rich microscopic flora and fauna which go together with the lamellibranch. The Diatoms are the focus of the oyster farmers as they not only contribute to the molluscs' nutrition but are also susceptible to change the colour of their gills in specific environmental conditions. We carried out in parallel an experimental study on the oyster and on the marine diatoms, and aimed to precise the optimal conditions for these two organisms, in order to know if they are the same for both of them.
