AB Quelques auteurs déjà ont signalé un cas de mal foramtion de la bouche chez la Dorade commune (Pagelius centrodontus DELAROCHE). C'est ainsi que YARRELL (1), DUNN, GARSTANG (2) ont observé chacun une dorade à nez court, dépourvue d'os intermaxillaires. Cette anomalie n'ayant pas été remarquée que sur la côte de Cornouailles, GARSTANG s'est demandé si elle n'existait qu'aux environs de Plymouth, et s'il ne conviendrait pas d'étendre sa distribution.  Nous apportons aujourd'hui une réponse à cette question : en deux ans, en effet, nous avons eu l'occasion au port de pêche de La Rochelle d'observer directement sur les frais plusieurs de ces monstruosités, dont nous allons examiner quelques types. AB Some authors have already underlined a case of mouth malformation in the common bream (Pagelius centrodontus Delaroche). This way Yarrell (1), Dunn, Garstang (2) each observed a short nosed bream, which didn't have intermaxillary bone. As this anomaly had not been observed only on the coasts of Cornwall, Garstang asked himself if it only existed in the Plymouth area and if its distribution should not be widened. Today, we answer this question: over two years, we had the opportunity to observe directly some of these monstrosities in the harbour of La Rochelle. We will study some of them.
