AB Les Bas-Champs de Cayeux sont une région de marais maritimes, protégés de la mer par un cordon littoral en constante évolution (érosion de la racine, zone de progradation vers l'extrémité) ; des formations végétales remarquables y ont trouvé un milieu favorable à leur développement et à leur conservation ; ces Bas-Champs constituent un gîte d'étape des migrations aviaires. Face aux divers projets d'aménagements touristiques, il paraît nécessaire de sauvegarder certains biotopes d'intérêt notoire : des propositions sont présentées.
AB The Cayeux Bas-Champs, Picardy, are a coastal marsh area, sheltered from the sea by an evoluting pebble ridge (retreat at the older part, progradation at the distal end). A remarkable vegetal cover has found here an environment favouring its development and conservation. These Bas-Champs also constitute a station used in bird migrations. As several plans for recreation and touring have been put forward, it seems necessary to protect some biotopes of scientific interest. Proposals are made in this respect.
