AB L'existence d'une Haplosporidie parasite de la palourde Tapes deucussatus a été signalée par VILELA (1950) avec la description à partir d'observations en histologie classique d'une nouvelle espèce Haplosporidium tapetis VILELA. Récemment, l'examen de coupes histologiques de glandes digestives de palourdes de l'Etang de Thau a permis de retrouver dans l'épithelium stomacal des formes comparables aux plasmodes de H. tapetis et d'en préciser l'ultrastructure.
AB The existence of a Haplosporidie parasite in the clam Tapes deucussatus has been demonstrated by Vilela (1950) with the description, based on classical histology observations, of a new species: Haplosporidium tapetis Vilela. Recently, the examination of the histological sections of the digestive glands of some clams from the Thau lagoon helped the scientists to find, in the stomachal epithelium, some forms comparable to the plasmodium of H. tapetis and to precise their ultrastructure.
