AB Une infection virale a été observée chez les Huîtres portugaises Crassostrea angulata durant les mortalités massives de 1970-1973. Un type nouveau de virus et la morphogenèse virale sont décrits. Il s'agit du premier virus signalé chez les Huîtres, mis en relation avec une épizootie de ce mollusque économiquement très important.
AB A viral infection has been observed in the Portuguese oyster Crassostrea angulata during the massive mortalities of 1970-1973. A new type of virus and the viral morphogenesis are described. It is the first virus observed in oysters and linked to an epizooty in this mollusc of great economic importance.
