Fluctuations in the ecosystem of the Western Channel: A summary of studies in progress

There have been long-term fluctuations in plankton, fish, and benthos off Plymouth during the past 60 years. The changes form a biological cycle, involving the whole ecosystem, related to recent variations in climate to the northern hemisphere.
