AB We present a progress report on the IOTC bigeye thresher shark post-release mortality study project (IOTC BTH PRM Project). The goal of the study is to evaluate efficiency of the IOTC CMM focused on conservation of thresher sharks of the genus Alopias (Resolution 12/09). Summary of the collective efforts since IOTC WPEB 13, including development of formal documents, operation manuals, PSATs acquisition and preparation, field operations is presented.
