AB En 2018, le calcul de l’indicateur DCE « Macroalgues intertidales » pour la masse d’eau FRFC11 « côte Basque » a permis de la classer en « Bon état » pour ce paramètre au printemps et en état « Moyen » à l’automne. Cette année ce suivi constitue la première campagne de collecte des données pour cadrer avec une évolution de l’indicateur et répondre aux besoins de la DCSMM : double échantillonnage au printemps et à l’automne, prise en compte de la faune dans les quadrats et effort d’identification taxonomique. Ces compléments sont présentés à travers l’indicateur Ics (Indicateur structure des communautés) mais ne font pas l’objet de notation à ce stade. L’absence de canopée en zone intertidale et la biogéographie pour cette masse d’eau constituent deux aspects qu’il faudra considérer dans les barèmes qui seront appliqués pour évaluer l’état de conservation des habitats intertidaux. 
AB In 2018, the calculation of the DCE indicator "intertidal macroalgae" for FRFC11 water body "Basque coast" allowed to classify it as "Good" for this parameter in spring and “Medium” in autumn. This monitoring is the first data collection campaign in line with an evolution of the indicator and the MSFD needs: double sampling in spring and autumn, consideration of the fauna in quadrats and a taxonomic identification effort. These additional data are presented through the indicator Ics (Community Structure Indicator) but are not scored at this stage. The lack of canopy in the intertidal zone and the biogeography for this water body are two aspects that should be considered in the scales that will be applied to assess the conservation status of intertidal habitats.
