EMSO-Azores: six years of continuous monitoring of a deep sea hydrothermal vents – Technical results

Since 2010, the EMSO Azores non-cabled deep sea observatory acquires scientific data on the Lucky Strike vent field on the mid Atlantic ridge. This paper presents the marine infrastructure of EMSO Azores observatory needed to acquire and transmit data in near real time 24/day during six years. It details technical results obtained during this period.
