Abstract |
Before reaching of production level justifying an elaborated genetic improvement program, the new aquaculture species deserve a minimal strategy to avoid the consequences of uncontrolled genetic phenomena. Three main aspects will be discussed: initial constitution of the broodstock; maintenance of the broodstock; selection of the broodstock. |
