La production aquicole en Méditerranée a montré une augmentation constante à travers les années. La production actuelle atteint les 790000 Tm, en 1994. Cela représente environ 5% de la production aquicole mondiale. Bien qu'en Méditérranée, l'aquaculture s'oriente principalement vers les mollusques (67,8%), la production de poisson (31%) est en progression constante. | Abstract |
Aquaculture production in the Mediterranean showed a constant increase over the years. The current production reached 790000 Tm, in 1994. This represents about 5% of global aquaculture production. Although the Mediterranean aquaculture is moving mainly to shellfish (67.8%), fish production (31%) is increasing steadily.
