Une forme nouvelle d'Ampharetidae (Annélide Polychète sédentaire) a été récoltée en mer profonde entre 2100 et 4200 mètres, dans le nord du Golfe de Gascogne. Elle constitue le type d'un genre nouveau, Noanelia gen. n., relativement isolé à l'intérieur de la famille. Certains caractères génériques peuvent être considérés comme primitifs. A new ampharetid (sedentary polychaetous annelid) has been collected in the deep sea between 2100 and 4200 meters depth in the northern part of the Gulf of Biscay.
