The study of the reproduction of tunas (albacore. bluefin et bonito) is a science which was historically born on the Mediterranean coasts of the ancient world. Then, as numerous fields of biological oceanography applied to fisheries, it has been taken over on a larger scale and with great success by American and Japanese scientists. |
