Un genre nouveau de Copépode Cyclopoïde parasite d'Annélide Polychète est créé pour renfermer une espèce nouvelle.Cette espèce a été récoltée sur une Annélide de la famille des Opheliidae, dans la plaine abyssale du Golfe de Gascogne. Le dispositif de fixation sur l'hôte réalisé aux dépens des mandibules constitue un caractère original qui ne permet pas de rattacher cette forme à une famille existante de Copépodes Poecilostomes. A new genus of Cyclopoid Copepod parasitic upon a polychaetous Annelid is erected to include a species new to science.This species has heen collected on a polychaet belonging to the family Opheliidae, in the abyssal plain of the Gulf of Biscay. The attachment device on the host set up by the mandibles is a unique feature which makes impossible the inclusion of this parasite is an existing family of Poecilostome Copepods. [NOT CONTROLLED OCR]
