Citric and malic acids, products of the intermediary cycle, are usually found in the different vertebrate tissues; however, the same acids are not necessarily found in invertebrates and in similar quantities. This study aims to establish a comparison between the latter and superior animals. Our study material consists of two crustaceans (Nephrops norvegicus Leach and Maia squinado Latr.), a gastropod (Haliotis tuberculata L.) and a lamellibranch (Pecten maximum L.). |
