Dans le cadre du suivi DCE, le paramètre « macroalgue subtidal » est calculé pour la seconde fois sur la masse d’eau côte basque à partir du protocole utilisé en Bretagne et adapté au contexte environnemental local. En 2011, 3 stations ont été prospectées au lieu de 5 en 2008. Le résultat est identique à celui obtenu en 2008 avec un indice de qualité « moyen » pour l’ensemble de la masse d’eau. Le principal critère pénalisant dans le calcul de l’indice est « espèce opportuniste » pour l’ensemble des stations. Il existe une variabilité inter-site selon les critères entre les deux campagnes ce qui témoigne de l’intérêt du suivi tous les trois ans sur les trois sites. |

Under the WFD monitoring the “subtidal macroalgae” parameter is calculated for the second time on the Basque coast water body from the protocol used in Britain and adapted to local environmental context. In 2011, three stations were sampled instead of 5 in 2008. The result is the same to the one obtained in 2008 with a quality index "medium" for the whole of the water body. The main criterion penalizing the calculation of the index is "opportunistic species" for each station. There is variability between sites according to the criteria between the two campaigns reflecting the interest of monitoring every three years on the three sites. |
