Résumé en anglais |
Studies of the functioning of intertidal ecosystems are widely based on analyses of the biological rhythms due to sea movements, estimating an average rate for emersion at all points of the foreshore. This estimate supplies an explicative parameter related to distribution of animal and vegetable species. We present a spatial model for estimation of emersion rates based on the processing of geocoded data within a geographical information system (GIS). |
