Abstract | Sixty-nine specimens of the rare leucosiid crab Merocryptus boletisculpta are reported from Walters Shoal, an isolated seamount in the southwestern Indian Ocean. The species has previously only been known from the type series collected during the R/V Vityaz 1988-1989 expedition. The species is re-described, illustrated, and colour photographs are provided. |
