Résumé en anglais The understanding of the processes involved in large climatic changes as the last glacial/interglacial cycle asks for detailed descriptions of the changes which occurred during the last deglaciation, the only transition which may be dated accurately. In that matter, the super(14)C Accelerator Mass Spectrometry (AMS) allows unprecedented sensitivity on the dating of the foraminifera which are used for isotopic analysis. The partial differential super(13)C of the benthic foraminifera is a good indicator of the changes in bottom water ventilation. We present here a comparison of the changes in the oxygen and carbon isotopic records of benthic and planktonic foraminifera in 2 cores from the north west slope of the Pacific Ocean, along the Japan continental margin.
